Agreement to Terms

By accessing our website or engaging our services, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.

Services

Symbol Health provides custom software development services for healthcare organizations, including but not limited to:

  • Healthcare application development
  • Secure software solutions with healthcare data protection standards
  • Telemedicine platforms
  • Patient portals and practice management systems

Engagement Terms

Project Scope

  • Specific services, deliverables, timelines, and pricing will be outlined in individual proposals or contracts
  • Changes to project scope require written agreement from both parties

Payment Terms

  • Payment terms will be specified in project proposals
  • Typical terms: 30-50% upfront, remainder upon milestones or completion
  • Late payments may incur fees

Intellectual Property

  • Upon full payment, client owns the final deliverables
  • We retain rights to reusable code components, libraries, and tools
  • Client grants us permission to showcase work in portfolio (unless NDA applies)

Confidentiality

We maintain strict confidentiality of client information and project details. Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs) available upon request.

HIPAA Compliance

When handling Protected Health Information (PHI) on behalf of clients:

  • We sign Business Associate Agreements (BAA) as required
  • We implement appropriate technical safeguards
  • Clients remain responsible for administrative and organizational safeguards

Warranties and Disclaimers

  • We provide services with reasonable skill and care
  • We do not guarantee specific business outcomes
  • We are not liable for third-party service failures (hosting, APIs, etc.)

Limitation of Liability

Our liability is limited to the fees paid for the specific project. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or punitive damages.

Termination

Either party may terminate with 30 days written notice. Client remains responsible for payment for work completed.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Disputes will be resolved through arbitration in India.

Modifications

We may update these Terms. Continued use of services constitutes acceptance of updated Terms.
